Easel Drawer Card

Hello!

I have finally gotten my Christmas tree up (though not fully decorated) and many of the other decorations out; however, the living room is a huge mess as a result.  I am so hoping to finish decorating the house tomorrow so that I can get back to crafting guilt-free!

Today's card is one I have been seeing a lot of lately.  It's an easel card with drawer.  I've seen them with multiple drawers and multiple easels, but I'm tickled to just be doing one of each!

Though there were a fair number of steps, broken down each one was a cinch.  The tutorial from which I learned was given by Christine Garner over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  She has a great tutorial style which practically guarantees success!

All papers used are SU, including their Be Of Good Cheer dsp.  

This is a perfect size to hold a small gift, candies or a gift card.

 I colored the image with Copics and used red Stickles on some of the berries.  The wreath was made using many pieces punched from the MS pine branch punch.  (My hands nearly gave out from punching so many.)  The berries were from my stash that I've had for years without really paying any attention to them.  The ribbon and tiny jingle bells are from my stash too.

The greeting was cut and layered onto Dienamics Fishtail Flags Stax and was the greeting layer of this week's Sparkle Creations sketch, shown here.


 All in all, this was a very fun card to make, and I hope you'll give Christine's tutorial a try as well.
