O, Christmas Tree

Hello and good morning!

Today's card is a quickie.  Ever have one of those days when your mojo has completely deserted you?  Doesn't matter why, it's just something that happens, and yesterday was my day to have it happen to me.  I probably should have stayed out of the craft room, but I so wanted to make a card using a technique that's new to me, and that is, the Folded Christmas Tree as explained by Beate in her tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.   This was featured on Monday's challenge, Try A New Technique TLC403.

Talk about EASY.  It's a great way to use double-sided paper, and after the first one, these go like a breeze and you can decorate them any way you see fit.  I added bling to the edges of mine.

Here's a closeup:

Looks tricky, doesn't it?  Well it's not, and you should go to the tutorial and check it out for yourself.  I made a little golden star for the top and added some gold ribbon and bows, and to show you had bad the mojo was, the sketch challenge for which I made this card had already expired by the time I finished it.  That's the kind of day I'd had.  Oh well, today will be spent making jewelry with my DD (she to wear, me for my cards) so that'll give me a break from the craft room for a day.

Until then, happy crafting!
